Parents attend with their children and introduce them to the Montessori environment with the guidance of the educator. The
session is 2 hours once a week. Children have the opportunity to choose individual activities for themselves, as well as joining
others in outside play and in group songs and music. This group allows very young children to gain independence through
simple activities and introduces them to the routines of the Montessori classroom. It is also a wonderful opportunity for parents
and carers to experience the Montessori environment with their child.
Children may attend one, two or three mornings per week. The classroom and activities are similar to the Kindergarten room,
but with a focus on the simpler activities suited to this age group. Children choose their own individual activities, with help and
guidance from the teacher and join group songs, stories and music.
Bacchus Marsh Montessori Preschool is part of the Moorabool Shire Four year old Kindergarten Central Admission

For 2020 we still have places available in our Ruby class that will run on Monday and Tuesday each week, 8.45 am – 4.15pm.
